You know I wasn’t born I was spat out at a wall
and nobody even knew my name.
The sun hatched me out, cradle and all
on the corner of first and insane
For the souls of the departed and the renegades of love
you and me gotta be all we dreamed of
In the ruins of mischief through the ravages of time
you got a place in this world of mine
and nobody even knew my name.
The sun hatched me out, cradle and all
on the corner of first and insane
For the souls of the departed and the renegades of love
you and me gotta be all we dreamed of
In the ruins of mischief through the ravages of time
you got a place in this world of mine

sometimes when it’s too hard to get on
it just might be you that I’ll call upon
but i find that hard to believe
but if anything
that’s what’s going to save me
it just might be you that I’ll call upon
but i find that hard to believe
but if anything
that’s what’s going to save me

I think all women go through periods where we hate this about ourselves, we don’t like that. It’s great to get to a place where you dismiss anything you’re worried about. I find flaws attractive. I find scars attractive.

Music is a world. I can be sitting in a room, dealing with this red-tape stuff that we all have to deal with, and another dimension opens, and I haven’t left the room, and music just comes as things that I’ve never heard before, or things from the past that almost open up my perspective. God, you can get really trapped in life, and different things take you out of it. You can take a little pill, you can have a little drink, but to me, that doesn’t solve the problem. That just postpones it. You can shop, you can have an affair—because that will distract you—but that doesn’t solve it. For me, it’s creating something, so that you have a different perspective, and you don’t feel victimized by a situation.

normal people vs ed sheeran
| Normal people: | Im crying because I really miss you. |
| Ed: | I don't get waves of missing you anymore, they're more like tsunami tides in my eyes |
| Normal people: | oh stop, you're making me blush! |
| Ed: | tell her that she turns my cheeks the colour of my hair |
| Normal people: | were spooning |
| Ed: | were resembling cutlery |
| Normal people: | my life is falling apart |
| Ed: | her face seems slowly sinking, wasting, crumbling like pastries |
| Normal people: | will you marry me? |
| Ed: | see, I could do without a tan on my left hand where my fourth finger meets my knuckle |

Everything is never ok with me, why all of a sudden does it matter?
